* Anthropomorphic Pop Art Mash-up fusion of Warhol's Marilyn and my big rescue dog Baxter. These artworks (Amuse Bouche & I Am Not A Muse) represent my first foray into the Art World several years ago. I am releasing a very short edition of only six A1 sized prints plus a range of smaller format Digital Limited Editions.
The original artwork came about after playing around with a few photos taken earlier in the day of Baxter rocking in a muddy puddle in Richmond Park, West London. He was so ecstatically happy and the happiness shone though his eyes.. pure heaven. Bit of a pisser for me as he had just spent the morning in his local Doggy Parlour for a full wash and blow.
The composition is set against a Farrow and Ball (Worsted) Gray for those of you who might be interested. Perhaps 'Dog-Breath' might be a better description?
This is an updated artwork - part of a series originally created in 2013.
